Good location, nice food and good service

This restuarant is a must visit place!!! An absolute must. The food is absolutely delicious. My husband smokes his food alot, so I am very picky about tasting others....but My goodness, Charlie Mac's chefs know "exactly" what they are doing. The portion sizes were shockingly amazing. Great environment. We had a blast there. You really have to visit this place...FANTABULOUS!!!!!!

While in Key West there are so many great places to eat and my wife and I want to try them all, but we loved this place so much we went back for seconds the next day. Excellent, down home style BBQ that'll stick to your ribs with lots of great beer options and plenty of TVs for sports. We also went back for trivia night and had a great time then too. We look forward to getting back here again!

Great food, drinks and location with indoor and outdoor seating! We were there the week before the Super Bowl and since it has all the Philadelphia spirit, lots of Eagles chants. The food was excellent, highly recommend the steak tips and onion rings.

Really good and large portions!

This place is a breath of fresh air. We've been in Key West for two weeks now, and have eaten fish every day. This place has pretty damn good BBQ. We got the Mac Daddy Bowl and split it between the two of us, and let me tell you, it was plenty! The brisket and pulled pork was really good, and so was the Mac and cheese and the baked beans. We felt the chilli tasted just a touch scorched, but over all the meal was great!! And for 20 or so bucks?!?? Can't beat it! Laid back and comfortable atmosphere...and you can hold a conversation while eating to boot!! Definitely recommend checking this place out!

My first trip to USA ever, and when we arrived to Key West after 8 days in fort Meyers I was not served a propper american meal yet - Charlie Mac's managed that.I was though a little dissapointed that the waither did'nt know where Denmark is placed in the world ;-)

We love everything they serve here! Try the Philly cheesteak eggrolls with white cheese dipping sauce, to DIE FOR! The Daddy Mac bowl has a bit of everything that is great and wonderful in the world!

This is a great place to relax after a day at the beach. Great beer selection and the food is awesome. The Chili fries and lot's of beer, who needs more.

We stopped here for dinner on our last night in Key West, and it was a great pick. The fans on the sides of the restaurant are great at keeping out flies and cooling you off, but are very strong. We chose a seat the bar so the fans wouldn't cool off our food too quickly. The bartender was very attentive and informative, and we had everything we needed. I enjoyed my brisket grilled cheese and the various selection of mustards and BBQ sauces, my husband enjoyed his burger. Can't wait to visit again, I could use another one of those sandwiches.

One of the great places to eat in key West. If you're looking for smoked food, this is your spot. It's also a great place to watch sports, they'll have your game on but you're still outside. Love this place, get the wings.

Good BBQ (BIG plates), nice open bar atmosphere. TVs with sports, good beer and drink selection. Kids liked it too. Service was good but not great.

Always a great choice for ribs and BBQ. Generous portions, I always bring home a doggy bag.😃

We went in as a small family and let them know that more couples were coming. We asked for drinks and they wouldn't serve us until the others got there. THEY WERE NOT BUSY, maybe 4 other people in the restaurant side. Service was terrible at 9:00 pm and the staff acted like they didn't want to be there. Had the Macs Daddy Bowl. Brisket was good, a little dry. Pulled pork was good and so were the baked beans. ALOT OF FOOD in the bowl. Not a fan of the potato salad, but it wasn't terrible. Also had there Pulled pork BLT, its wasn't anything special but good. Prices are not bad and atmosphere could use some help due to staff. Personal wouldn't go bad but if you're a barbecue fan, it's worth a taste.

First visit to Key West. I keep smelling BBQ and then I found Charlie Mac's. I've had a lot of BBQ in my day. This was amazing. If you are ever in the Keys. You have to go here. You won't be disappointed 😉👍 try the sampler platter.

The bbq is great here! The hot sauces are VERY hot! The food came out quick and the meat was extremely tender. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and even funny! For how much food you got, the cost was actually extremely reasonable! Would highly recommend Charlie mac's if you want good bbq.

Awesome pulled pork, need brisket and turkey burger. Green beans and slaw were very good. I was not a fan of the fried corn on the cob. Very large portions. I'd come back again.

Great food great service. After my four year dropped her burger on the floor on accident they got a new one out to her fast. With no fuss no muss.

The service is amazing, the lay out is open with an atmosphere you can relax in. For the most part the food is good. But if you dont want a distinct smokey taste in everything dont eat here. A small amount of smoke is tasty, there was just far too much for me. Specifically the chili Turned my stomach. Couldn't even eat it.

Loved this place. We were looking for something to eat when we got off the boat. Everywhere was packed due to it being a tourist spot and this little gem was tucked around a corner with only a few people in it. The food was amazing and the portions were enormous. Staff was awesome and I wish we lived there just for this place! Shrimp tacos were delicious!

Great Brisket and Chicken Dinners...the Deep Fried Pickles were interesting, the Mrs liked them better than I did.Great service as well....good idea to have an awesome bbq joint in the middle of seafood....gives people a great option!

Awesome food. The mac and cheese balls with pulled pork are delicious. The Savage sandwich is the best I've had. With all the meat in it, it's a carnivores dream.

Fabulous food and good beer selection. The fried pickles are phenomenal.

Generous servings of well-prepared BBQ (you can smell the kitchen blocks away, it's mouth-watering). Great selection of sides. Nice tap list. Comfy digs with plenty of seating on a relatively quiet side street, a short walk from Duval, but feels light years away from the chaos. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Can't wait to go again!

Abesolutely incredible. I've been vegan for 3 years and have never had tofu as well seasoned as the stuff here. The tofu tacos are incredible, all of the sauces will blow your mind, and the fries are wonderful. I was with some meat eaters who all raved about the meat as well, so it seems like this place all around knows what they're doing 👍

Stopped in recently with a ravenous appetite. Our server said the sandwiches were plenty big to split between two people, boy was he right. We got the smoked turkey blt and it was an excellent sandwich, very large , lots of turkey with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions with bacon on a large roll. Served with very well prepared fries that were just about perfect. We enjoyed the meal very much. I like the room as well, a very cool vibe going on. Service was excellent.

Completely flavorless BBQ, I have no idea why this has so many stars. You should have to drown the meat in sauce to make it taste like something. Green beans were mush. Burnt ends were just fat. Staff was super friendly, too bad they can’t cook.

Love this spot! First time here and glad I went! Loved that it represented PHILLY! Tons of beer on draft and great menu! Staff was great as well! Burger was huge and delicious! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a burger spot.

The food was good, the helpings are massive. You can share a Mac daddy bowl. Beer was cold. I would stop in there again.

Get.the.ribs. You can add your choice of bbq sauce and will be full from the generous portions! Also, make sure to get FRANCES as your server-- she's awesome! We ordered the sample for two and attempted to demolish it-- we didnt even come close, but we had fun trying!😊

Food was great, the pulled pork was moist and super flavorful. We got the Mac daddy bowl and it was more food than two of us could eat. Service was good.

If you are a fan of good smoked barbecue then I highly recommend you eat here the food and service was great we had the pulled pork, baby back ribs potatoe salad, baked beans, French fries, Cole slaw and cornbread 2 thumbs up. Location was great about 100 yds off Duvall St

Stopped in for drinks and enjoyed a very tasty Margarita topped off with Grand Marnier, which is often referred to as a 24k Margarita. Excellent service provided by a friendly bartender who also suggested some good tourist info. This place is close to the waterfront docks and the point of departure for sunset cruises and other boating excursions.

Delicious food - bring your appetite! The portions are huge! Nice atmosphere - we sat near the bar in an area which was very open and nice. The waitress was kind of sassy in a way I didnt personally appreciate, otherwise I would give this restaurant five stars.

Great service. We stopped in for a late night snack and was blown away by the barbecue. Burnt ends, and the pulled pork were top notch, we know our bbq. Great beer and whiskey selection. Tried a new whiskey here that I will drink again to remember this great trip. (Hill Billy Bourbon)

An awesome BBQ restaurant, right on Duval Street. Their brisket is tender and well flavored. The key lime pie there is one of the best I've had in Key West!

If you are an Eagles fan, you have to stop hear to celebrate with us and eat the best brisket, wings, corn bread and all smoked items. Fantastic atmosphere and great place to have a great meal and a couple of drinks. You have to try their specialty bloody Mary drink.

The atmosphere was full of energy, fun and had a great time watching the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Washington Redskins with a restuarant/bar 100% full of Eagles fans. Food was beyond excellent and reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again!!
